This site has added a photograph of the Massachusetts Trial Court’s online docket for the case filed against Patrick Gordon on December 23, 2025, the day he was arraigned in Salem District Court.
The docket’s charge tab lists two charges, both felonies with an offense date of December 22, 2025: possession of an incendiary device under G.L. c. 266, § 102(a), and unlicensed sale or possession of an assault weapon under G.L. c. 140, § 131M.
The indictment filed in the Essex County Superior Court on March 30, 2026 charges ten counts. Both original charges carry through. The eight added counts are possession of a machine gun, three counts of possession of a silencer, possession of a firearm, possession of a 3D printer for firearm manufacturing, possession of an untraceable firearm, and manufacturing fireworks without a license.
A grand jury may indict on charges beyond those in the District Court complaint, and it hears the evidence the prosecutor presents, in secret. According to Invention Incarnate, the probable-cause hearing scheduled in District Court for January 20, 2026 was continued without evidence being taken. The added counts have therefore not been tested in a public hearing.

Every count is an allegation. Mr. Gordon is presumed innocent.
